Scrap transport includes the tipping and the non-tipping solution and equipment. In the tipping version the Translifter has a tipping mechanism and it can unload the scrap independently. In the non-tipping solution the scrap bin is only transported on a cassette and a crane takes care of the tipping.
NT Group industrial Translifters are robust and strong. They have industrial bogies and pneumatic or superelastic wheels for long distances. The Translifter can be equipped with tipping cylinders to operate tipping function with tipping cassettes. Tipping cassettes usually have payload capacity up to approx. 100tons and bin volume up to 80 cubic meters.
Tipping Translifter is multi-purpose solution and can handle also other types of cassettes and it is not binded to only tipping operation.
Tipping Translifters can be equipped also with scale that gives detailed weight of transported payload.
Roll Trailers can also be equipped with tipping function. Tipping Roll Trailer payload capacity and bin volume are usually little bit smaller than in tipping Translifter.
