In steel coil handling the operation is usually continuous transport between few process points and the coils are not stored on the cassette.
NT Group industrial Translifters are robust and strong. They have industrial bogies and pneumatic or superelastic wheels for long distances. The length, width and height of the frame are often tailored to the customer’s needs. Cassettes are equipped with coil cradles, which hold the coils in place without additional lashing. One coil cradle can hold different sizes of coils, diameters ranging from ~ 800mm to ~ 2800mm. Translifter can be equipped with weather cover that protects the transported load from rain and dirt.
Load capacity of the Translifter can be up to 300 ton. One Translifter can transport even 1500 tons in hour.
Roll Trailers can also be equipped with additional coil cradles for coil handling operations.
