Steel plate production usually has complicated logistics and the plates are processed in several stages and they must be transported between different process points. Each plate has to be transported several times during the process. This means lots of transports and warehousing of semi finished plates between the process points and this means ideal usage of NT group cassette system. Plates can be stored on top of cassettes between process points.
NT Group industrial Translifters are robust and strong. They have industrial bogies and pneumatic or superelastic wheels for long distances. The length, width and height of the frame are often tailored to the customer’s needs. Cassettes can be equipped with flat steel or plywood deck or they can be skeletal design with no deck.
Translifter can have telescopic frame and transport very long plates uo to 35 meter long.
Load capacity of the Translifter can be up to 300 ton. One Translifter can transport even 1500 tons in hour.
