Area Sales Engineer – Germany

NT Group is looking for an Area Sales Engineer who is passionate about close customer relationships and growing sales in a technical demanding industry. NT Group consisting of NT LIftec Oy, Novatech, Baastrup vognen & NT Industry is an industry leader that design, develops, manufactures and sells primary transport equipment & solutions for marine, industrial and agro clients. Here you will work with experienced, specialized and supportive colleagues. We are more than 400 employees from 15+ nationalities dedicated to supporting our global customer base constituting the biggest players within shipping companies, ports & terminals, steel mills and the concrete- & wind industry. You should be living in Germany and willing to travel extensively within the region. Your main role will be to identify new business as well support our existing customers, with technical quotations, including product design, calculations, and technical guidance, and help ensure correct project specifications before the order is produced. You will, together with Regional Sales Manager, defend and expand our market position. You will also get to work closely with our Engineering, Back-office and Production Team.

You already have some sales experience and a proven track record of results from other sales positions. Experience with heavy industries and transport equipment is a plus but not a requirement. You like to work independently, but also understand the value of working in teams. You are a self-starter who thrives on creating new business relationships. You work with high energy, drive, and commitment to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. You take ownership and inspire others and make a positive impact.
