Service Technician for Scandinavia

We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as: Service Technician for Scandinavia

Based:           Finland / Pirkkala office.

Language:     Fluent in Finnish and English.                                                                                           

                       Big advantage if you speak the Swedish language, too.                                                     

Travel:           Expect 100 days pr. year.

We are hiring – are you our new Service Technician for Scandinavia?
Do you want to work in an international environment? Do you want to work with large heavy industrial machinery? Are you comfortable working with hydraulics, electrical installations, pneumatics, and some PLC programming?

Then, we might have the job for you! With the possibility of working with some of the largest customers in Scandinavia within ports, terminals, and heavy industry.

Tasks:

• Machine service repair and regular maintenance (Translifters & straddle carriers)
• Troubleshooting and remedy of faults/errors in the area of electrical/automation and pneumatics/hydraulics.
• Providing technical support and maintaining positive business relationships with clients
• Commissioning of new equipment
• Training of customers in operation and daily maintenance of their equipment
• Provide market intelligence to production, design, and R&D.

Requirements:

• Technical background as technician, mechanic, electrician, or solid experience gained through working on related equipment.
• Professional experience in servicing technical demanding machinery or equipment
• Knowledge of either mechanics, electrical installations, hydraulics, pneumatics or PLC a big advantage
• Fluent in Finnish & English language for easy contact with the client. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a big advantage.
• Ability to use a computer fluently (MS Office)
• Analytical skills, independence in action
• Driving license – B Category
• Willingness to travel on business trips for 30 – 50% of working time per year
